Lindblad Construction’s dedication to our customers’ needs begins with our management team, and is reinforced by our skilled craftsmen.
Tom has presided over Lindblad Construction since 2000 and has held senior management and ownership positions since 1980. He has over 40 years of experience in project management, estimating, marketing, and subcontract coordination. His areas of expertise include the management of Design/Build projects; pre-engineered metal buildings; and developing new client relations and nurturing already established client connections. Tom received his Bachelor’s in Mechanical Technology from Bradley University.
Scott Batty has worked for Lindblad Construction since 2013. He has over 22 years of expertise in Environment, Health and Safety administration and implementation; program development; and training. Scott Batty received his Master’s Degree in Adult Education from Northern Illinois University.
Lee brings over 32 years of construction experience as a Contract Maintenance Manager, Carpenter Foreman, General Foreman, Superintendent, Estimator, and Project Manager to the Lindblad team. He has worked with Lindblad for over 27 years. Lee’s team specializes in renovations; service agreements; general contracting; interior build-outs; metal studs & drywall; and heavy industrial construction. He attributes his success to his loyal clientele, great craftsmen, and owners’ support.
Mark has been the Vice President of Lindblad Construction since 1989. He has 40 years of experience in project management, estimating, marketing and engineering. His skillsets have fostered company growth into new market areas in industrial & utility markets as well as sustained strong client relations for decades. Mark received a Bachelor’s in Architectural Building Construction Engineering Technology from Milwaukee School of Engineering.
Senior Project Manager
Brian Long has worked in the construction industry since 1984. He began his career as a carpenter and has joined the Lindblad team in 1999. In 2010, Brian moved from the field into a project management role and is currently a senior project manager. Brian oversees the utility/power sector of the company. His team specializes in self-performance of concrete construction and General Contracting in the utility & power sector.
Dan O' Connell
Dan began his career as a union carpenter in 1983. In 2008 he joined the Lindblad team as a General Foreman. Dan became a Project Manager in 2011; his focus at Lindblad has been the promotion of pipeline and refinery construction.
CFO/ Secretary/ Treasurer
David has worked in the construction industry since the early 2000s in the capacity of accounting, finance, and reporting. He has extensive experience in the percentage of completion accounting method in construction with an emphasis in forecasting and planning; heavy job cost; financial reporting and analysis and analytic support to all levels of the organization. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Northern Illinois University in 1994 and a Master’s of Business Administration from University of Phoenix in 2009.
Pete Valek has 30 years of construction experience and has worked with Lindblad for over 20 years. He has worked as a skilled craftsman, Foreman, General Foreman, Superintendent, Estimator and Project Manager. Pete’s team specializes in self-performance of concrete work in the industrial, municipal, and commercial sectors.
